Gender dysphoria is a feeling of distress that can happen when a person's gender identity differs from the sex they were assigned at birth. For example, someone may have been born biologically female, but feel as though they are actually male

What is a chest binder?

A chest binder is an item of clothing made out of compression material for the purpose of flattening the chest area, usually to reduce body dysphoria

Our binders have also been used post mastectomy surgery, as compression garments to reduce swelling (successfully), and by stunt performers as under garments

Where do you source your binders?

Our binders are made by us, here in NZ! 

How should my binder feel?

Our binders are designed to fit snuggly in order to compress and flatten your chest, but you should not experience any pain, discomfort or difficulty breathing. If you aren't sure about sizing, please get in contact with us so we can help you with your measurements 

How should my binder make me look?

A correctly sized binder will aid in giving a flat chested appearance under clothing. It will not completely flatten your chest, but it will help in significantly reducing body dysphoria 

Are binders safe to wear?

Yes! Our binders are perfectly safe to wear as long as you have the correct size. If you are experiencing any pain or discomfort, you have the incorrect size 

How long can I wear my binder for?

We advise taking it off during sleeping hours and whenever you get a chance to air your chest out

Can I swim/exercise in my binder?

Absolutely! The high quality material they're made out of makes our binders perfect for swimming (including chlorinated water!) and working out in

They're  made of Recycled Nylon & Lycra (Cotton/Mesh inner), so they're not only compressive, soft and breathable, but they're also UV protective (UPF 50+) chlorine, suntan cream and oil resistant, so perfect for swimming and working out in! The back is stretchy while the front is lined with a non-stretch breathable panel to flatten your chest while allowing great mobility for your arms and upper back.

Are BindMe binders sensory friendly?

Yes! The high quality material we use makes our binders very soft, breathable and not too restrictive 

Can I exchange my binder?

We will happily exchange your binder if you have the incorrect size or there is a manufacturing fault

In cases regarding sizing, you are liable for the shipping cost. Please email us and send it back within 30 days of purchase if you'd like to make an exchange

The binder must be in the same condition you received it in (please hand wash with warm water and baking soda, then hang to dry if there are any body odor or deodorant stains)

Can I return/exchange my Packer/Underwear/STP/Stoker?

No. Due to the intimate nature of these products, we are unable to offer exchanges or refunds. Please contact us asap if there is a fault with your product once you've recieved it

Do you have a physical store/do you do fittings?

No. Unfortunately, we don't have a physical store or offer fittings. We are a two person team, working out of our homes. We operate BindMe on top of our full-time jobs 

We do offer fittings at markets/events, such as Big Gay Out

I have sensitive skin- would your body tape be suitable for me?

Quite possibly! Our body tape is hypoallergenic and latex free, and we've had no reported reactions or issues from our customers with a sensitive skin.

To be safe, please ensure to try a test strip first

Can I have a test strip sent out to me?

Of course! If you'd like a test strip sent to you, please get in touch. We only ask that you cover the shipping cost
